SAT SHARE Series
SummaryText
This is a SAT publication, which highlights the role and importance of NGOs in providing support to CBOs and NGOs in responding to HIV and AIDS. It documents the lessons learned, strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats faced by such organisations. It is the second in the SHARE Series and is based upon material gathered at a regional workshop co-hosted by SAT and the International HIV/AIDS Alliance.
SAT’s SHARE (Shaping HIV and AIDS Responses) series aims to document practical experiences, identify lessons learned, and advocate effective strategies and policies in programming. As part of the SAT’s Good Practice Strategy, the series seeks to inspire, inform and improve the evolving community response to HIV and AIDS in southern Africa.
The Southern African AIDS Trust (SAT) is a regional initiative that supports community responses to HIV and AIDS through in-depth partnerships with community groups in southern Africa and wider networking, skills exchange and lesson sharing throughout the region and internationally.
