Review of Journalism and Communication Education and Training in Mozambique

This report presents an overview of the education and training needs and opportunities of the media and communication sectors in Mozambique. It explores a number of issues, from the clarification of the roles and status of different schools, development of curriculum and adequate staff resources, access to equipment and materials, and the need for the development of a national communication framework. The report reviews available training programmes to identify strengths and shortcomings, and makes recommendations for building capacity in this area.
