This book aims to be a practical guide for entrepreneurs providing information on the realities of business and laying out steps to create a successful business. It is available in English and in Afrikaans "Die Entrepreneur in Jou".

The History of Business Outreach (from the website)..."From 1991-1998, in answer to a demand for a special entrepreneurship development process, which could work for people with limited education, skills and finance, the entrepreneurship life-skills programme with unique methodology, was developed. This process empowered people (of all levels education) to tap into their natural abilities and entrepreneurial potential, focus it to suit market need and earn income quickly with no start-up capital or risk.

Since 1998 based on the success of this process and methodology and in answer to demand from communities to develop their economic potential and sustainability - the Business Outreach Network was formed, to train, equip and mentor community economic educators as facilitators and mentors."

The book has also been converted into an interactive computer programme and in a pilot 'community radio' English audio production has been developed (for translation into different languages) - in partnership with Soul City.
